Children's Hospital Association and other children’s health groups submitted joint comments to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) requesting the convening of stakeholders to identify actionable solutions about ongoing stimulant medication shortages.

Our comments highlight the long-term negative impacts that children and their families may experience due to untreated attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and that these shortages exacerbate existing health disparities among families enrolled in Medicaid and CHIP.
